A Texas woman is recovering in a hospital after a freak airplane accident.
23-year-old Lauren Scruggs had just finished looking at Christmas lights from a private plane when she landed near Dallas.
Federal Aviation Administration officials say the model and magazine editor was getting off the plane when she walked right into a moving propeller blade.
In addition to a fractured skull and severe cuts, her left arm was amputated. The FAA is investigating the accident.
